Big Bad Biker Noah.

BEFORE.... AFTER.....
Today was the magic day that it all clicked. Our neighbor, Deb, came over to congratulate him and mentioned to him that her kids were still using their training wheels. He said, "Maybe I can give them some pointers." He is now a self proclaimed expert on the subject after 5 whole minutes. There's no stopping him now!

Take er easy there, Noah, we don't want any big disasters now that you think you are the expert rider. I am sure you are very good at it though and congratulations, big guy!!!

WAY TO GO, NOAH!! Riding a bike without training wheels is soooo hard. Good for you.

At dinner tonight Damon (who evidently checks your blog from work!) said, "So I heard that Noah can ride a 2-wheeler now." To which I just smiled at Will and kind of raised my eyebrows up and down and kept looking and smiling at him. He said, "What?!" 'Cause we'd already had this conversation earlier in the day in which I was trying to goad him into practicing on his bike, by telling him what Noah can do. At dinner he said, "I know what you're trying to do." And we were like, "What?" And he was like, "You're just trying to get me to take my training wheels off. It's not going to work." Sooner or later I'm hoping to embarass or shame him into this,(always a good idea, right?!) but so far, no luck.

Jill-
"Goad"-who says that?!?! What does that even mean?!!? you are funny! I think the english major in you came out for a second!! Or maybe it's just my lack of vocab knowledge! I got a kick out of that for some reason!

That's hot! Shame is a powerful tool in the parental playbook. unfortunately he seems to be 2 steps ahead of you this time. You'll have to try another tactic--bribery. Q will do ANYTHING for $. It is always my last resort, but I have used it many times. :)

Joe's parents paid Jackson $10 to ride his bike. All of a sudden they were speaking the same language, and boy he learned quick!
