That's not a picture of the yucky stomach bug is it?

We've got a lot of these suckers at our house - shells and live ones. Last night I heard what seriously sounded like a wounded animal screeching (it could be heard through the closed door and the TV blaring!) and discovered instead that it was Lucy carrying her little cicadia friend around in her mouth. She was so proud, she pranced around and wagged her tail at us, while all the while the buzzing and screeching came out of her mouth. She spat it out right on Damon's bare foot! This morning we had one in the garage which Will was only too happy to bring into the house, hissing and screaming. He brought it to me while I was on the toilet, yes he did, and I had nowhere to go! It's now safely tucked away in its little bug catcher. Why do kids and dogs think this is so great? They're like a cat with a mouse.(Which is one of the many reasons while I'll never own a cat again.)

Kathy, that is funny! No, just some of the wild life at Laura and Joe's new home. They will become quite the naturalists soon.

ok...for sure...there can't be bugs...you are not helping the situation by posting all the weird bugs at your house.
