Spring Pictures.

Yesterday, was spring picture day at school. I asked Noah to give me an example of how he smiled for his picture...

wow. I think I'll need to order an 11x13 for sure! Ha Ha. I think I'll send a copy to our dentist for his records as well. I asked Jackson to do the same thing and this is what I got. He's no fun!

Girl Time.

This afternoon, we had the neighbors over to play, a set of 6 year -old twins. The boy and Noah are buddies, and his sister came along today. Lily and Kailee played together and she was in awe. She held her hand everywhere they went and was very posessive of "my Kawee". At one point, Kailee came downstairs to see what the boys were up to and I hear a shriek from upstairs, "You get back here. Right. Now." Okay, so perhaps we need to work on the manners a bit. All evening long I heard "my girl this" & "my girl that". "Where my girl go?" I finally took her to the window and pointed to her house, where she stood there awhile and whispered, "my Kawee".

FYI.

For those who are interested, I'm still periodically wiping chocolate ooze out of Lily's nose and it is Friday night.

Girls Can Be Messy, Too.

I feel I should first say, I am a mother that usually hates the idea of a child making a mess like this. But, darn it, she was being pretty cute. And she had both of her brother's full attention and she really felt like she needed to impress them. Which she absolutely did. The pudding was everywhere. It seems as though I must have given her a gallon of the stuff, but I promise it was just one of those snack size cups.

Up each nostril...
on her cheeks...
everywhere...

this is her infamous 'stinker' look she gets at times...
then, she began opening her mouth and letting it slide down her chin...
going, going...
gone.
This is when the show ended. Mom pulled the plug. Couldn't stand it any longer. May you never look at chocolate pudding the same ever again. I know I won't.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Noah would like to announce that he has been eating lots of fruits and veggies lately and his muscles have, indeed, gotten bigger.

Lily At The Library.

Anyone who knows Lily, knows she can sing "The Wheels On The Bus" for days on end. Today, at the library toddler story time, the theme was fish. All you ever wanted to know about fish..and more. The teacher sang a song about different fish to the tune of her favorite song. All day long she's been belting out at the top of her lungs, "The fishies on the bus go round and round". Close, Lily. It IS very confusing, babygirl.
