There's Still A Piece Of My Heart In Texas....

...and her name is Emily.

This was the amazing precious-ness greeting me at the bottom of the escalator at the airport. It was very sweet. Thanks, Grandma Mimi!

Birthday Breakfast.

{yikes.}

This Is The Real Deal, Folks.

No trick photography and no, he is not standing on a chair. He's becoming a MAN! Thanks, Jill, for being our object of comparison.

Bathing Beauty.

This fat frog was my favorite part of the museum. I just wanted to squeeze him and see if he would make a squeaky noise.

Highlights From The Mississippi River Museum.

It Remains A Mystery...

Tonight, Lily and Noah were in the kitchen eating an ice cream treat. I heard a loud thud, a scream, and when I entered the kitchen, I saw this....

and then I saw this....

I still can't get any details. It will probably remain a mystery.

Pretty As A Flower.

(Too bad there was a bug in this flower. It ruined the moment for her...)

I had a dream last night that my plane to Austin was leaving at 1:00 and it was 12:30 and I still hadn't packed. I was trying and trying to put outfits together and none of my shoes were matching. It was HORRIBLE! My mother was there and she was yelling, "WE'RE GOING TO MISS THE PLANE! JUST PUT SOME CLOTHES IN A SUITCASE, DANG IT!" (only she didn't say 'dang'. Are you hearing it, my two sistas???) Love you, Mom!

For: Emily

Emily is missing her some nephews and niece. She requested a Hello video so she can see them up close and personal. For some reason I wasn't able to e-mail these so I had to put them here. Feel free to watch even if your name isn't Emily. I am just going to give an apology ahead of time for calling my husband 'a cool drink of water' or was it a 'tall drink of water'? Regardless, we're dorks. Whatever.
